Santa Catalina School seeks an Upper School Visual Arts Department instructor who will also serve as chair of the department beginning August 2013. The school seeks applicants who have prior experience teaching visual arts in an independent school or college setting and are prepared to teach Advanced Placement art courses as part of the school’s general educational mission. The Visual Arts Department Chair may assume resident faculty responsibilities.
Located on the Monterey Peninsula, Santa Catalina is an independent, Catholic school. The Upper School is a college-preparatory school for young women, with 258 boarding and day students in grades 9 to 12. The Lower and Middle Schools are coeducational, with day students in PreK to grade 8.
