Wonderful meeting!!

Thank you to everyone who came to MCDS last week! We had a great time and a lot of great conversations. After chatting over coffee and a mini book fair we broke into small groups to discuss topics facilitated by those interested in the topic. We managed to squeeze in three mini-sessions before coming together over lunch as a large group. After lunch we did a little sharing (via writing on the tables), and then broke into small groups for optional tours of the campus.

Here are some of the topics we covered:
Art as social commentary, Student Assessment, Fostering Creativity & Unique solutions, Technology in art class: iPads...etc, Art Shows, Self-Directed art centers, Middle Schoolers, World Cultures In Art:, Project sharing/ new project ideas, Digital Art/ Photography, Visiting artist program and ideas, Assistance in the Art Room
