Burke's Arts Festival, May 17th 5:30-7:30pm

Please join us Thursday, May 17th from 5:30-7:30 pm for our annual arts festival! A highlight will be the superhero capes fashion show that will take place at 6:00 pm on the Lower School blue-top. It culminates a fourth and seventh grade superheroes integration project.

Join us on Thursday May 17th at the Maker Faire’s special pavilion showcasing some of the ed-tech ideas and tools that you can use to transform classrooms into 21st century hotbeds of learning by doing. It will be a grand opportunity to network with both educators and entrepreneurs exploring and celebrating learning in the digital classroom. We’ll have stations for building and exploring innovative curriculum, kits and toys, and everyone will leave with a goodie bag.
This event is open to all educators.

Marin Academy Art Show open for 5 days

Celebrating 40 years, the Marin Academy Spring Visual Art Show features photography, ceramics, drawing, and painting from award-winning MA students. Work in this show has been recognized and exhibited by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers Scholastic Art Awards, the National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition, the Nikon Photographer's Forum, the Marin Society of Artists, and the San Jose Museum of Art. More than two hundred students participate in the visual arts program at MA. The opening reception is May 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Fine Arts Center, and the show will be open to the public May 4, 7, 8, and 9 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
